Valve Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Valve Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded individual with a strong background in valve maintenance and repair to play a key role within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a wide range of control valves and actuators, including positioners, boosters, solenoids, switches and regulators
• Maintain and repair various isolation valves, such as gate valves, parallel slide valves and ball valves, when required
• Use diagnostic tools and perform pressure testing
• Set up and calibrate associated instruments
• Ensure all safety requirements are followed, including conducting safety checks of tools and equipment
• Record valve overhaul and test details within the Valve Management System
• Actively promote and uphold the company’s Core Values in all work activities
  
  

Skills And Experience

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, ONC Engineering or equivalent qualification is essential
• OEM training is desirable
• General understanding of Team products and services is advantageous
• Confident in using a wide range of workshop equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
  
  

Working Environment

• Primarily workshop based
• Occasional site work may be required by agreement
• May be required to drive company or hired vehicles when necessary
