The opportunity
As an Associate at Azets, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:
- Understand and become involved in basic compliance tasks
- Preparation of basic computations for review by senior staff
- Work within your own chargeable time budget
Day to day duties
- Start to provide assistance with client VAT queries and advice
- Deliver research on either the client themselves or the particular VAT issue, then collate this information into a report or communication with guidance from senior team members to pass on to the client
- Begin to deal with internal VAT queries from colleagues
- Liaise directly with HMRC for administration tasks and really gain a full insight into the world of VAT
