VCF Consultant :
- Provides specialist guidance on Infrastructure (vSphere, NSX, vSAN, Aria) high-level design when required.
- Delivers hands on implementation and integration of VMware technology in their domain.
- Advanced understanding of Aria Automation workflows and scripting capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with NSX-V to NSX-T migrations.
- Expertise in deployment, upgrades, and troubleshooting within vSphere environments.
- Practical knowledge in deploying NSX and upgrades/migrate between versions.
- Hands-on experience with workload migration with knowledge of HCX and Aria Operations for Network (earlier known as VRNI).
- Proficiency in Aria Operations and Aria Operations for Logs.
- Understands the end-to-end project plan, including all work streams. May act as technical lead on project streams or consulting engagements. Accountable for individual deliverables. Contributes in meetings and at times may present findings. Recognizes when change requests are required.
- Has a good understanding of Change Management processes and assists the Project Manager to raise change requests when required and make accurate impact assessments in specialist area.
- Prepare rollback plans when required.
Required Experience & Skills:
● Overall experience of 10+ years on service delivery.
● Prior experience of at least 5 years working on infrastructure delivery engagements.
● Deployment experience with VMware products.
● Experience working on complex, multi-year, large projects is a big plus.
● Required VMware Certification: VCAP-DCV / VCP-NV / Tanzu.
● Recommended Industry Certification: MCSA, CCNA, CCNP.
● Kubernetes CKA would be a plus.
