The NOR platform brings the cutting-edge technology, scalability and accessibility of commercial game engines to the high-end military training and simulation market, creating an ultimate-fidelity physics-based military simulator.
Position Summary
A Vehicle Artist creates ultimate-fidelity vehicle assets for the NOR simulation platform, utilising mid-poly and/or high-to-low-poly modelling, UV unwrapping, texturing, through to importing the asset into Unreal Engine and preparing it for use in NOR. In addition, a Vehicle Artist works collaboratively with other artists on larger simulation assets, and is responsible for handling bug fixes related to their artwork.
Role And Responsibilities
- Creation of ultimate-fidelity vehicle art assets to established art specifications
- Mid-poly and/or high-to-low-poly modelling
- UV unwrapping
- Texturing
- Unreal Engine imports and artwork setups
- Take part in art review and mentorship sessions with seniors/leads
- Work collaboratively and provide constructive feedback to other Vehicle Art colleagues
Skills And Experience
- A beautiful portfolio of Vehicle Art assets, demonstrating a professional level of quality, efficiency, and practicality for real-time game engines.
- High proficiency in 3ds Max.
- A high proficiency in other 3D software, e.g., Maya, Blender, etc. is acceptable, paired with the desire/openness to learn 3ds Max.
- A passion for military hardware and simulation games is greatly appreciated.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- A passion for military hardware and simulation games is greatly appreciated.
- Previous professional experience in games or simulation.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Game Art).
- Proficiency in other 3D software for high-poly modelling (e.g., ZBrush)
- Experience working with international teams.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time non-exempt position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.
