Deloitte is seeking a highly motivated and experienced manager to lead the performance, commercial and compliance management of our Internal Delivery Partners. This role is pivotal in ensuring we leverage our internal capabilities effectively and efficiently to deliver exceptional customer service within Enabling Functions. As the UK subject matter expert on all topics concerning our Internal Delivery Partners spanning a wide range of Technology and Business services you will play a decisive role in shaping and governing over £100m of spend across a complex landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Management:

  • Ensure full transparency on Internal Delivery Partner costs and pricing models, developing and implementing robust cost management strategies to optimise spend.
  • Perform comprehensive spend analysis of Internal Delivery Partner and Third-Party contracts and use analytical techniques to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for cost reduction. Develop and present detailed reports and recommendations to senior leadership, including cost-benefit analyses, ROI projections and ongoing benefits tracking.
  • Negotiate solid commercial terms with Internal Delivery Partners, ensuring value and mitigating financial risks for the Enabling Functions organisation.
  • Proficient understanding of various software and service licensing & delivery models to drive accountability and value for money from our Technology Internal Delivery Partners.
  • Oversee and ensure accurate invoice and payment validation for Internal Delivery Partner engagements, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
  • Collaborate with service owners across Deloitte to foster a comprehensive understanding of their Internal Delivery Partner resource requirements, while promoting commercially minded decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain deep expertise in the service catalogues of the Internal Delivery Partners in scope, acting as a knowledge resource for stakeholders.

Performance & Relationship Management:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, building strong relationships and leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making on Internal Delivery Partner engagements.
  • Collaboratively develop and implement performance improvement plans with Internal Delivery Partners by strategically defining, tracking, and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Proactively addressing performance gaps, leveraging influencing skills to drive impactful change within a complex, matrixed environment fostering a culture of continuous service improvement.
  • Lead strategic transformation activities within the Internal Delivery Partner landscape to optimise service delivery, efficiency, and value generation for Enabling Functions.

Third Party Vendors:

  • In addition to managing Internal Delivery Partners, this role may require overseeing specific projects or services delivered by third-party vendors.

Experience & Expertise:

  • Proven track record of success in a Vendor Management/Performance Management/Service Delivery or equivalent role, ideally within a global professional services or consulting, or equivalent environment.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving and analytical skills, including root cause analysis and resolution of complex cross-functional issues, coupled with the ability to perform complex data analysis, financial modelling, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders on complex financial and operational decisions, driving consensus and securing buy-in for strategic initiatives that maximize value and mitigate risk.
  • Deep expertise in contract lifecycle management, including negotiation, interpretation, and enforcement of complex contractual provisions, service level agreements (SLAs), and performance metrics.
  • Possesses a strong grasp of financial management principles and a demonstrated ability to leverage analytical skills, such as forecasting and cost optimisation, to extract meaningful insights that drive effective decision-making processes.

Collaboration & influence:

  • Adept at navigating complex stakeholder environments across business units and geographies building consensus and fostering trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders to drive strategic alignment and achieve common objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and insights into compelling narratives that inform and influence senior leadership decision making.
