Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Village Vet Highgate, Northwest London.
Hours: Full time (42 hours per week)
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Our well-equipped practice includes on-site surgical, dental, and diagnostic facilities, with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, and a comprehensive in-house laboratory- giving you everything you need to work up cases to a high standard.
Consultations are by appointment only, with a minimum of 15 minutes per patient to ensure tailored, thorough care.

As a nurse training practice, we are committed to supporting the next generation of veterinary professionals, offering structured graduate training and a nurturing environment for early career nurses.
What we are looking for:
- Applicants must have at least two years’ experience working within a small animal veterinary practice in the UK.
- You should be able to work effectively within a team, provide contextualised patient care, and deliver an exceptional client journey.
Rota
We are committed to supporting a healthy work-life balance. Our typical schedule includes:
- 4-day working week: 8:30 am – 7:30 pm
- 1 in 3 Saturdays: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
- 3 Sundays per year at our Hampstead branch: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
- 1 bank holiday per year at our Hampstead branch (with time off in lieu)
- 1-hour lunch break per shift
