Vice President, Counsel

A large alternative investment manager is seeking a senior legal professional to join its European team.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience drafting and negotiating fund documents, side letters, placement agreements, and related materials for both regulated and unregulated fund structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate agreements with leading fund managers and distribution partners.
• Advise on legal implications of offering new and existing products across multiple jurisdictions.
• Draft and review offering documents, partnership agreements, and other fund-related legal documentation
• Manage external counsel on regulatory, corporate, and investment-related matters.
• Support corporate governance and a broad range of commercial contracts.
• Drive execution of new initiatives, structures, and business lines as the firm evolves.

Candidate Profile

• 5–8+ years’ post-qualification experience in fund formation, ideally private funds.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg corporate and regulatory frameworks.
