We are looking for a VP to join our European Corporate Coverage team in London.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated support to the MD/ Executive Director in respect to the management and development of existing and prospective global client relationships across the Consumer & Healthcare Sector
- Take increased level of client responsibility and dialogue, acting as junior RM for a number of relationships, developing contact points at GT/ MD level.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the key clients and industries within the Consumer & Healthcare Sector and use this understanding develop business plans aiming for more ambitious transactions and increased returns on capital committed
- Demonstrate strong application of credit risk judgement, acting as the first line of defence in terms of the banks credit assessment including proactive interaction with credit analyst team; analysis of client financial performance and assessment of risks and mitigants for key transactions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal product partners and stakeholders including EMEA Management, EMEA Credit, Project & Structured Finance, FX and Rates, Capital Markets and Greenhill.
- Prepare excellent quality pitch books working with the relevant Commercial and Investment Banking product teams demonstrating corporate finance analysis and integrated solutions.
- Support and take ownership for day-to-day account management including KYC, account plans, internal P&L data management, the preparation of ad-hot memos etc
Qualifications, Skills, And Experience
- University Degree or equivalent with professional qualifications
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, modelling knowledge and skills in corporate finance
- Extensive experience within a top tier Corporate or Investment Bank
- Solid understanding of the principles of commodity traders and the industry
- Ability to interpret and analyse corporate accounts
- Experience in monitoring and managing global credit lines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with both internal stakeholders and external clients
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Team orientated with excellent communication skills
- Proven track record in desktop analysis and to possess a strong technical skill set
- Knowledge & application of external data sources
- Self motivating with the ability to lead and inspire others to perform
- Computer Literacy
