Vice President, Global Trade UK
The role:
Key support function to the RM, GT UK, in the Trade Products development and expansion of corporate clients’ base activity, across the UK and the Nordic Region. Additional focus on leveraging on existing company clients in other BLs (ASF, FS, etc.)
On the medium term, the scope of this position is to take ownership of a clients’ portfolio to follow and develop on an autonomous basis – from origination to product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support marketing efforts through pitch preparation and client research.
- Assist in financial modelling, credit analysis, and transaction evaluation.
- Analyze financial data, report variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including CPRM, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Middle/Back Office, and other Business Lines.
- Contribute to client relationship management and deepen understanding of client needs.
- Prepare internal documentation including GT Precom papers, strategy reports, and performance statistics.
- Coordinate with GT Paris and colleagues across EMEA, APAC, and the US.
- Track Net Banking Income (NBI) in liaison with Finance teams in London and Paris.
- Maintain and update the transaction pipeline regularly.
- Engage proactively with Coverage, Industry Bankers, and platform colleagues.
- Stay informed on macroeconomic and sector-specific developments impacting clients and products.
- Ensure risk awareness and adherence to compliance standards in all transactions.
- Maintain product knowledge and complete mandatory training to uphold competence.
- Comply with all legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements, including financial crime prevention and reporting obligations.
Regulatory & Legal Compliance:
- Adhere to FCA Individual Conduct Rules and applicable Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR) standards.
- Maintain Natixis certification as Client Dealing staff.
- Observe market conduct standards and Natixis compliance policies.
Requirements:
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of credit risk and deep expertise in Trade and Working Capital products
- Proven attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and support credit decision-making
- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced financial environment
- Demonstrated team spirit, initiative, and flexibility
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills

Specialist / Technical / Professional Qualifications:
- Minimum 2:1 Degree or equivalent (preferably in Finance, Economics, or related field)
- FCA Certification Staff status required (Client Dealing function)
- Familiarity with FCA Individual Conduct Rules and Natixis compliance policies
- Completion of all mandatory training to maintain competence
- Understanding of financial crime prevention and reporting obligations
