Role Description

These are on-site contract roles located in Hatfield for Visiting Lecturers in the subjects of: software engineering, cyber security, data science, artificial intelligence and core computer science. Visiting Lecturers assist module leaders and course leaders in the delivery of high-quality teaching to a diverse student body, delivering seminars and workshops. The role will also include assessing student work.

Qualifications

• Strong teaching, lecturing, and public speaking skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students
• Proficiency in learning design and academic assessment
• Effective organisational, time management, and communication skills
• Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and understanding of diverse student experiences
• Relevant academic qualifications, typically a postgraduate degree or equivalent in the relevant subject area
• Prior experience in a higher education teaching environment is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and engage in teamwork
