Location: Central and Southwest of England - *Location Independent

Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

As a Location Independent Worker, for operational reasons you may be required to perform your duties, either temporarily or permanently, from any of Vodafone’s UK offices or customer sites within a reasonable geographic area of your home address. What You’ll Do

Typically, the BDM role has a field-based territory of Enterprise prospects between 100-250 organisations, these are usually within in the 750+ employee customer size space, but this can vary depending on the territory being covered. In addition, a key element of the role is seeking out other/new organisations to grow your own prospect base further, thus expanding Vodafone’s reach further into the market.

The role will focus on winning 100% new logo business and developing high potential clients. You will be central in achieving a step change in delivering continued growth for Enterprise business and will be working with management and director/board level customers on digital transformation & potentially complex multi-product bids. Adoption and implementation of the Vodafone Way of Selling will be critical to success.

BDM will engage new logo organisations, identifying the business challenges faced by those prospect customers and will disrupt our competitors by leveraging the Vodafone business leading portfolio. This includes Mobility, Connectivity, Cloud, Hosting, Security, Unified Communications & Internet Of Things, all of which can deliver business outcomes that help these organisations meet their own goals. In doing so, this in turn grows our business revenues via these organisations joining Vodafone as new customers.

Who You Are

  • Minimum 3+ years sales direct experience selling to large organisations in technology, consultancy or professional services sectors as an individual contributor
  • Build return on investment (ROI) and business cases through great understanding of customer objectives and challenges
  • Track record of delivering sales targets. Significant experience in presenting to C-Level stakeholders, via Face-to-Face and various communication platforms
  • Technically aware, able to understand complex technical concepts and solutions
  • Ability to demonstrate selling to complex customer buying centres with multiple stakeholders i.e. effective stakeholder management and internal stakeholder engagement skills
  • IT literate and significant experience of using Sales Tools e.g. CRM systems, Linkedin Sales Navigator, High Spot
