As a Location Independent Worker, for operational reasons you may be required to perform your duties, either temporarily or permanently, from any of our offices or customer sites within a reasonable geographic area of your home address. Our “Office in a Box” home working kit will provide you with everything you need, no matter where you are.

What You’ll Do
In this customer facing role you will be responsible for engaging across a broad range of contact points within a customer organisation and determine how our technology solutions will interlock with the client’s business operation to provide market-leading service for that customer.
You will be developing interim and future operating models to ensure service performance, contract compliance and service transition planning.
Working with global clients who are UK-centric as part of the Pre-Sales Solution Design organisation in Vodafone UK, you will typically own opportunities worth up to £100M TCV. The nature, criticality and scale of some of these opportunities will allow you to influence and ‘change the way Britain works.
You will support both private sector and public sector client opportunities and are therefore expected to understand the procurement frameworks and processes associated with both. You will respond to requests for new technology or technology-derived solutions from the customer but will also be accountable for demand generation activities i.e. pro-actively creating new opportunities to sell Vodafone solutions.
Who You Are
We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused professional with proven experience in engaging stakeholders at multiple levels. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships across clients, vendors, and internal teams. A background in Service Design—particularly within the telecommunications sector—is highly desirable, along with familiarity in ITIL v3 and a commitment to achieving ITIL v4 accreditation.
This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong personal impact, discipline, and a drive to continuously develop and adapt in response to evolving client and market needs. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player, eager to support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
Key Requirements:
- Strong client engagement, communication, and negotiation skills
- Experience in Service Design, ideally within telecommunications
- Familiarity with ITIL v3 and a goal to attain ITIL v4 certification
- Ability to work with and negotiate with vendors and partners
- SC Clearance Desirable
