Our business function are a team that are revolutionising how customers use technology and connectivity. What You’ll Do
The Senior Commercial Manager will be responsible for the development of a commercial strategy for the Fixed Wholesale channel within Vodafone Business UK. The role holder will drive cross-functional collaboration of key stakeholders to maximise revenue and margin outcomes and deliver improvements in commercial performance of the Fixed Wholesale channel.
- Develop and implement a commercial strategy for Fixed Wholesale
- Leadership, coaching and development of 4 direct reports
- Engage with Fixed Wholesale customers
- Work closely in collaboration with Product, Commercial and Marketing
- Develop and maintain strategic and commercial relationships
- Contract and inventory management and invoicing of billing/credits
- Deliver Wholesale Pricing strategy, cost optimisation, margin assurance and incentive payments
- Deal governance and oversee internal governance process for Fixed Wholesale
- In-life management of key accounts
- Wholesale portfolio benchmarking and pricing against competitors
- Commercial negotiation and management of new and existing partner agreements
Who You Are
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with internal stakeholders and customers
- Commercial acumen and financial literacy: Comfortable leading and creating business cases, plans and leading others to deliver quality outputs
- Shaping strategy: Ability to develop and drive commercial sales strategies, achieving business growth
- Delivering results: Drive continuous improvement and higher performance levels
- Influencing collaboratively: Guide, influence and work effectively across functions to drive outcomes
- Driving operational excellence: Lead the operation of the function to deliver the best-in-class performance
- Strategic Planning and analysis: ability to develop and execute business strategies, including market analysis, competitive positioning and long-term planning
- Deep B2B Telco experience is essential with an understanding of the Wholesale market
- Ability to assimilate data to draw insights to make sound judgements in complex situations
