Voids Manager to join our Repairs service and take the lead in transforming empty properties into safe, high-quality homes for our residents.
As Voids Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering a responsive, efficient, and customer-focused voids service. You’ll manage a flexible workforce and subcontractors, ensuring that properties are turned around quickly, safely, and to the highest standards—minimising rent loss and supporting our wider housing goals.

The Voids Manager leads the turnaround of empty properties into safe, high-quality homes. This role oversees operational delivery, contractor performance, and team coordination to ensure voids are completed efficiently, cost-effectively, and to a high standard. It’s a key leadership position within the Repairs service, focused on minimising rent loss, improving customer satisfaction, and driving service excellence.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a proactive and experienced leader to manage our in-house voids service. The ideal candidate will:
- Lead a high-performing team delivering efficient turnaround of empty properties into safe, high-quality homes.
- Demonstrate strong operational and financial management, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting.
- Manage contractors and internal staff to ensure quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction
- Drive service improvement and innovation, with a focus on achieving KPIs and maximising productivity
- Handle sensitive data and oversee stock/materials, ensuring safe keeping and accurate systems management
This role is critical to maintaining housing standards and minimising rent loss, and it requires someone who can balance strategic oversight with hands-on delivery.
Location
The job is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford, London, SE6 4RU but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.
Special conditions
- IOSH and NEBOSH health and safety qualification
- Full UK driving license
- Weekend working is required for this job
- The job is subject to a Basic Disclosure DBS check

Salary
£61,836-£64,032 per annum (P08)
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
