Overview

Volkswagen Group Hub Editor (Maternity Cover, 3 days per week, from mid August 2025) - Wonderly (Volkswagen Group; location: Milton Keynes, 3 days per week Weds to Fri)

We’re looking for a confident, articulate and enthusiastic Group Editor to join our editorial team (for maternity cover) based at Volkswagen Group UK’s headquarters in Milton Keynes.

The role would suit someone with at least five years of journalism or digital content experience, ideally gained on a busy news website or in business communications, who has an interest in digital publishing and the automotive industry.

About The Role

Wonderly is a leading owned-media agency, producing world-class content for global brands. On behalf of Volkswagen Group UK (VWG), we operate Hub, the main digital communication channel between its brands - including Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, CUPRA and Škoda - and its national network of dealers, retailers and repair centres. You will be working at the heart of Volkswagen Group to deliver effective communications to the network.

The Hub team creates, edits and publishes news and reference articles spanning everything from the latest model launches and finance offers to minor specification and business updates. It's a fast-moving corporate environment, where you'll be expected to turn your hand to a variety of tasks, including writing, copy-editing and video production, and working day-to-day with our clients across the Group.

The Group Editor will be writing engaging content to keep the people who work in Volkswagen Group’s national network up to date with all the latest news, updates, offers and incentives, so that they have all the information to excel at their jobs. Whether it’s the latest accessories offers or, aftersales and service campaigns, you’ll be responsible for producing streamlined, easy-to-read copy so will need exceptional writing and sub-editing skills.

You’ll also be running the Paint & Body Hub, which serves Volkswagen Group’s network of approved repairers. You’ll be helping to create a community of bodyshops and communicating business development strategy.

The role involves providing leadership for a small team of editors, as well as managing and mentoring an editorial assistant, who will be supporting you with writing, editing and producing site content.

It’s an exciting time for the automotive industry, and you’ll be central to the communications of this ever-evolving business.
