An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly, experienced senior registered nurse to join a very busy acute cardiology unit (ACCU) based at Liverpool university hospital-Aintree as a Band 7 Ward Nurse Manager.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate previous substantive experience of working at at a band 6/7 level, must have experience looking after complex patients within the cardiology speciality. Key responsibilities will include the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care, effective leadership and staff management/development
The post holder will always work within the NMC’s Code of Professional Conduct.
They also have to display motivation and skills to lead and develop the current existing team in collaboration with senior nursing and organisational staff. The successful applicant will be well supported by the senior nursing team and will bae a valued member of the senior nursing team. Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must.
