Ward Manager Band 7

The post holder will be responsible for managing a General Surgical, Trauma and Orthopaedic ward . Providing support and assurance to the senior nursing team and to safely manage, support and guide a team of Registered Nurses and Health Care Support Workers, to ensure that the care they provide our patients adhere to the safe standards outlined to us by clinical governance, and the exceptional standards that Prince Charles Hospital promotes.

Responsible for the delegation of clinical nursing activities to appropriately skilled team members, ensuring that an efficient and effective service is delivered to the patients.
