Warehouse Manager & Continuous Improvement expert

Location: Croydon

We are looking for a Warehouse Manager, requiring expertise in Continuous Improvement (CI) and Lean methodologies to optimize operations within a fast-paced manufacturing business.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and implementing CI initiatives, managing inventory, overseeing staff, and ensuring a safe and efficient warehouse environment, whilst providing a first class service to our customers.

This is a dual role encompassing management of our newly set up warehouse, at the same time working very closely with both the Operations Director and Operations Manager to drive our CI/Lean initiative across our Croydon site.

Key Responsibilities:

·     Safety & Compliance:

Ensure a safe and compliant working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures. 

·     CI & Lean Implementation:

Play a major role in the implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives and Lean methodologies to enhance efficiency and productivity throughout the business. 

·     Inventory Management:

Oversee all aspects of inventory management, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods, always ensuring accuracy. 

·     Staff Management:

Manage and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback. 

Empower all members of staff in CI & Lean.

·     Process Optimization:

Identify areas for process improvement, develop and implement solutions to streamline operations and reduce costs. 

·     Operational Efficiency:

Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflows and timely completion of tasks, along with on time deliveries to customers.
