About The Role
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team in Lerwick, supporting the handling and movement of goods across our ambient warehouse. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of operations for our temperature-controlled transport, special cargo, and parcel and home delivery services.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch
- Handling and moving stock safely and efficiently within the warehouse
- Supporting the loading and unloading of vehicles
- Using handheld devices and warehouse systems to track and manage stock
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse
- Following all health & safety and operational procedures
You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team that values reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. The role is physically active and varied, with opportunities to learn and grow within a supportive environment.
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re physically fit, comfortable working in an ambient warehouse environment, and enjoy being part of a team that supports a variety of services. You should be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively. Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided. A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to maintaining high standards will help you succeed in this role.
