Who is New England Seafood International?
New England Seafood International (NESI) was established in 1991 and is an importer and processor of premium fresh and frozen sustainable fish and seafood. NESI employs circa 850 people across three sites in the UK and imports a wide range of wild and farmed fish and shellfish from all around the world. We are part of the Sealaska Corporation, an Alaska Native corporation formed in 1971 and which is owned by 26,000 Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian shareholders, who are all bloodline descendants of the first settlers to the Americas.

Reporting to the Yard/Warehouse Supervisor, we are seeking hard working and conscientious individual to support our warehouse team.
The core shift will be 4 on 4 off 05:00-17:00
You Will Be Responsible For
- Ensuring the area of work, racking and mechanical handling equipment is safe and logged via the WorkSafe system.
- Ensuring Warehousing meets company policy in terms of hygiene and food safety at all times and in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Accurate Receipting materials in and booking materials out using the SAGE system via a scan solution ensuring all trace detail correct.
- To be able to pick from lists produced by planning which may require splitting of a pallet as a pallet quantity may be too much.
- Report any near misses or damages in a timely manner.
- Monitor and escalate non-moving, delisted, quarantine stocks and samples.
- Regular stock takes of Physical to SAGE and root cause of any variances.
- Work with other Warehousing operations as needed.
Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience
- Good communication skills
- Ability to priorities workload
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Previous Warehousing experience
- Reach Truck license with at least 2 years experience
- Full UK Driving license
- Counterbalance FLT license
- SAGE experience (preferable)
