The role
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. An exciting opportunity to take a key role in driving operational success within the warehouse.
Day-to-day, you’ll make sure teams within the Warehousing function have the people, tools, and processes required to safely deliver outputs. You’ll maintain and update procedures to ensure accurate information flows into decision making and provides visibility across the wider business for effective support. You'll also:
- Providing support to manage employee lifecycle recruitment through to exit processes
- Managing employee relations daily contact supporting warehouse manager through disciplinary, grievance, welfare support procedure
- Performance management including objective setting, appraisals, identifying poor performance, reward and/or recognition
- Managing functional resource levels, 1st daily contact in absence management, annual and/or flexi leave
- Identification for additional working to deliver on performance expectations
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days in the office/onsite and days working from home.
Essential experience of the Warehouse Supervisor:
- Competent PC user (MS Office, MS Outlook, SharePoint, MRP system)
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team in a warehouse or similar environment
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address and resolve operational issues effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with manage people, individuals, and teams
Qualifications for the Warehouse Supervisor:
- Educated to Level 2 in National Qualification Framework (NQF) as a minimum (Intermediate apprenticeship, Level 2 NVQ, GCSE – Grade A* - C, O Level A – C, CSE Grade1) or equivalent workplace experience

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
