In this role you’ll be responsible for the development of Manchester Airports wider water system infrastructure, which includes distribution systems, foul, surface water and grey water systems and surface water containment systems, to support airport requirements for growth, service delivery, efficiency and environmental compliance. You’ll work collaboratively with the wider Utilities team which forms part of the Manchester Airport Asset Management team and support on the development of capital investment plans by assessing asset condition, whole life cost modelling and criticality of assets. You’ll also specify maintenance and service delivery requirements for potable, surface water and foul network infrastructure.
We are looking for someone with experience working with water networks, ideally in a similar complex commercial operation with significant environmental risks, and a qualification in a relevant subject such as plumbing or building services. You’ll also need to be commercially astute and proficient in asset management software (eg. Maximo) along with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate and influence others.
