Job Purpose
As an Water Events Analyst, you’ll support the Network Systems Manager within the Monitoring & Control team. You’ll manage reactive events and planned interruptions across the water network, ensuring accurate records and resolution. Using multiple systems, you’ll monitor performance, identify issues, and escalate concerns to reduce customer impact.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Manage reactive events, incidents, and planned interruptions across the water network, ensuring resolution and accurate data capture.
- Act as the central point for real-time event coordination and communication across teams.
- Monitor telemetry and customer data to proactively identify and respond to network issues, minimising supply interruptions.
- Analyse performance deviations using various systems to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate water quality events, support GIS accuracy, and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
Technical Skills & Experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on technical issues and water network performance.
- In-depth understanding of water event triggers, escalation procedures, and incident management within the ICC.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, ODIs, SLAs, and the Guaranteed Standards Scheme (GSS).
- Proficient in using INS and other water network systems to extract, analyse, and interpret operational data.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and coordinate effectively across stakeholders.

- Educated to at least GSCE level (including ‘C’ or above in English and Mathematics).
