Full time – 37 hours per week
Permanent
Salary – up to £39,100(depending on experience)
Location – Middlesbrough and Teesside Areas

About The Role
Are you passionate about delivering an unrivalled service to customers? Do you have an interest in the water industry?
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Water Regulations Team[NB1] . Within this role you will provide expert advice and support to our customers, in the Teesside area, in line with the Water Regulations (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999. Full training will be provided to ensure you are up to speed in no time.
You will be part of a team conducting inspections of water supply systems in industrial and commercial settings, following a scheduled inspection program. This means you’ll use your attention detail to ensure we meet our regulatory expectations.
You will promote, educate, and enforce Water Regulations for private systems. This means you will monitor new developments and modifications to water supply systems to ensure compliance with regulations and Northumbrian Water Limited (NWL) conditions of supply.
You’ll be responsible for preparing and maintaining technical reports and records using current IS systems and have a good awareness of Health & Safety policies.
About You
If you have a passion for customer service with an understanding of water systems and technical processes, then we want to hear from you.
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and able to work on their own. Being detail-focused is key as you’ll use your knowledge to explain and discuss water systems clearly and competently.
You’ll use your strong communication skills to ensure technical concepts are accessible to a variety of audiences.
You must hold a full, valid driving licence as a van will be provided to you to carry out this role. A recognised plumbing, engineering, or Water Supply (Water Fitting) Regulation 1999 qualification would be an advantage, but not essential.
