About the Role:We are looking for a talented and proactive Weddings & Events Sales Coordinator to join our team. This is a hands-on, client-facing role responsible for managing all aspects of wedding, private, and corporate events, from initial enquiry and sales through to seamless on-the-day coordination.
You’ll be the first point of contact for prospective clients, delivering a personalised sales journey, converting leads into bookings, and taking ownership of the planning and delivery of each event to ensure a memorable and professional experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive sales through prompt follow-ups, tailored proposals, and confident client communication
- Conduct showrounds and sales consultations for weddings, private celebrations, and corporate bookings
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through relationship-building and detailed planning
- Create bespoke event packages and quotes, working within client budgets and needs
- Manage planning timelines, supplier coordination, and booking milestones for each event
- Produce function sheets and liaise with kitchen and FOH teams to ensure smooth event execution
- Be present on the day of events, overseeing set-up, supplier arrivals, running order, and client satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records using Reslynx, ResDiary, or similar systems
- Represent the venue with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail
Requirements:- Proven experience in event sales and coordination, with a strong background in weddings, private functions, or corporate events
- Strong sales acumen and ability to build relationships quickly and confidently
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Confident communicator, both in-person and in writing
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and key seasonal dates
- Experience using Reslynx and ResDiary is preferred
- Full UK driving licence (desirable)
