JOB DESCRIPTION
The Workforce and Training Team within Healthy Cornwall who are part of Public Health within Cornwall Council. Healthy Cornwall based within the Wellbeing and Public Health service provides health improvement interventions across Cornwall and Isles of Scilly that encourages all residents to make healthy lifestyle choices that will support physical and mental wellbeing.
The service strives to reduce health inequalities by taking a targeted approach and working with individuals and communities with the most need, situated in areas of high deprivation or those who are socially excluded.
The Role
This is a public/customer-facing role where the postholder will deliver training to individuals, organisations, private, public and voluntary sectors.
This position will be subject to a basic criminal record disclosure check.
Working Pattern
The role is 37 hours per week working within the Council's flexitime system. This role will include some irregular working, such as early mornings, evenings and occasional weekend working.
