WMS Configuration Specialist (Manhattan Active WM / WMOS)

Experience Required: 3+ years in WMS configuration roles

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced WMS Configuration Specialist to support medium-to-complex deployments for Client strategic products, primarily Manhattan Active WM (MAWM) and WMOS. You will either independently lead smaller implementation projects or work under a lead configurator for larger programs.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on configuration experience in warehouse management systems, strong analytical and technical skills, and a proven background in 3PL environments.

Key Responsibilities

Support configuration activities for medium to complex MAWM deployments, or independently lead configuration for smaller projects.
Execute configuration tasks as directed by the Lead Configurer; for simpler flows, translate the process and perform configuration autonomously.
Triage and resolve issues encountered during testing, hypercare, and go‑live phases.

Develop and maintain operational and analytical reports using IBM Cognos.

Manage and implement customer integration changes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and on-time delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of hands-on configuration experience in WMS environments.
Prior configuration support experience on WMS deployments (MAWM or WMOS preferred).
Strong command of SQL for troubleshooting, data validation, and configuration support.
Familiarity with IBM Cognos report writing.
Understanding of 3PL operational processes and best practices.
Ability to work in fast-paced, customer-facing implementation cycles.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Practical knowledge of Manhattan Active WM (MAWM) or WMOS.
Experience working with DHL or other large logistics customers (advantageous).
Ability to handle cross‑functional coordination during hypercare and go‑live.
