Position Description
Are you ready to lead a major priority area for marketing and business development within a leading technology and business services firms? Kainos is seeking a strategic, insight-led, commercially minded Marketing Director to support Business Development in the Europe & Australia. You will lead the marketing strategy, design, and delivery of full-funnel marketing & business development initiatives that help drive demand, pipeline, and revenue across our priority sectors and regions within our European & Australian business.
Your Future Duties And Responsibilities
As the Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal role in connecting marketing strategies to business growth. With a strong commercial mindset, you'll lead the development and execution of integrated, insight-led marketing campaigns that align with strategic business goals, enabling the sales force across key commercial sectors.
Strategic Marketing
- Develop and execute full-funnel marketing campaigns that span awareness, demand generation, emerging market penetration, pipeline acceleration, and conversion.
- Lead the design and deployment of integrated sector-specific marketing across owned, earned, and paid media.
- Design and manage Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives to support priority objectives and strategic accounts.
- Collaborate with global Sales teams to deliver positioning, tools, and content that support proactive and reactive sales efforts.
- Independently translate company strategy into full spectrum revenue generating marketing campaigns, influencing partners, senior stakeholders and Sales teams to engage and support those campaigns.
- Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor strategies to inform campaigns and positioning strategies.
- Develop and refine differentiated value propositions for new products and services.
- Lead the creation and execution of integrated go-to-market (GTM) strategies for product launches, including messaging, positioning, packaging, and pricing collaboration with Senior Sales Executives.
- Coordinate across product, sales, and partner teams to ensure successful and aligned new Product and Services launches.
Partnership Marketing
- Work with commercial partners to drive joint go-to-market (GTM) strategies with commercial growth priorities, leveraging strong negotiating skills to do so.
- Onboard new partners and support partner enablement with toolkits, collateral, and training materials.
- Access other partners and create and manage Kainos own MDF (Market Development Funds) and joint marketing budgets.
Pipeline Optimisation & Conversion Alignment
- Work across functions to enhance conversion from MQL to closed opportunity.
- Represent Europe & Australia in global lead generation maturity initiatives and tool development.
Continuous Improvement
- Use campaign retrospectives and pipeline analytics to refine performance and drive ROI.
- Act as a connector to ensure consistent messaging, client insights, and value propositions across teams.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong blend of strategic thinking, marketing execution, and sales alignment capabilities, alongside deep sector and client understanding.
Marketing Requirements
- Extensive experience in B2B marketing leadership roles within IT services, consulting, or professional services.
- Expertise in developing and executing full-funnel marketing strategies and ABM programs.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and work closely with senior sales directors, sector heads, partners and business leaders.
- Previous experience in partnership marketing including commercial negotiations and joint GTM campaigns.
- Strong storytelling skills and experience developing high-impact content for complex pursuits.
- Proven experience of leveraging marketing capability to open and develop emerging markets and launch new Products and Services.
- Excellent proven ability to convert Company objectives into marketing strategy with MQL targets achieved and excellent MQL to Sales Won conversion ratios.
- Excellent ability to drive multi-channel, cross marketing campaigns which are both verticalized and regionalised.
- Competency in campaign performance analytics, persona-based marketing, and market intelligence and analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field

Qualifications
- 12+ years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in partner/channel marketing or marketing within a partner-led GTM model.
- Deep understanding of SaaS sales cycles and partner ecosystems (VARs, MSPs, SI, technology partners, etc.).
- Strong demand generation and digital marketing skills.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and interpersonal skills.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM (e.g., Marketo, Dynamics 365 etc.) and analytics tools.
