Workday Project Manager (HCM)

UK - Remote & Hybrid (UK or EU based)

Full-Time, Permanent

We’re looking for a seasoned Workday Project Manager to join our growing Workday PMO team. In this key role, you'll lead and oversee Workday deployment and optimization projects, ensuring high-quality delivery, resource alignment, stakeholder engagement, and overall project success. This is an exciting opportunity to work with dynamic, global teams and build long-lasting client relationships in the Workday ecosystem.

The Role

• Lead multiple Workday deployments and enhancement projects, maintaining control of scope, budget, and timelines
• Manage and coordinate onshore and offshore Workday teams to ensure aligned delivery
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client engagements, building trust and ensuring project satisfaction
• Troubleshoot functional and configuration issues, ensure data integrity, and identify optimization opportunities
• Facilitate communication across client stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams
• Adhere to governance frameworks—project reporting, decision authority, and steering committees
• Drive customer satisfaction while expanding UST’s footprint and revenue opportunities
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Minimum of 4+ years of Workday project management experience (including both Phase 1 and Phase X projects)
• Workday Engagement Manager (EM) and HCM certifications
• Proven success leading mid to large-scale Workday deployments in the UK/EU region
• Strong grasp of Workday deployment methodology and project lifecycle best practices
• Experience managing change orders, escalations, and resource planning
• Skilled in managing remote, global teams, including early morning and late evening coordination with offshore teams
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• A proactive and collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  
  

Nice To Have Qualifications

• Background in consulting or Workday services firms
• Experience delivering optimization/Phase X initiatives
• Familiarity with multiple Workday modules beyond HCM (e.g., Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence)
