Overview
Responsible for bridging consulting operations and workforce optimisation, this role serves to drive great client satisfaction, the accuracy and efficiency of operational data, and champion company culture in the Ventures team.
The position requires an excellent detail-oriented and critical team player who is curious about consulting projects and can forge close relationships within the business. The role will focus on building relationships with colleagues across ventures to identify and leverage each team member's unique strengths while aligning them to client outcomes. As a workforce manager, the role will be a people-first attitude, client-centricity, and data-driven process efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities
Resourcing
- Develop strong relationships with our people and act as the motivator to get staff to want to work on client engagements.
- Using business data and experience to solve resourcing issues and drive efficiencies within the Ventures business.
- Workflow management across live and pipeline projects, ensuring effective employee casting throughout.
- Use our CRM to understand the nature of work for all deals in the near pipeline and the future impact on staffing.
- Manage and report on key metrics such as employee utilisation and headcount, tracking to ensure high-quality client outcomes are achieved.
- Ensuring the company culture and values are represented throughout the resourcing process to drive retention.
- Understand nuances of each of the capability lines in Ventures as well as the strategy and processes to enable flexible workforce planning support.
- Work with the Talent team to validate team gaps and consult on resourcing specifics of job descriptions.
Systems Governance
- Administering, managing, and supporting our Workforce Management system (Productive), becoming the go-to person for queries and support and training and educating users in its use.
- Auditing and reporting on projects, validating data and supporting in sourcing the data points to enable effective decision-making.
Experience And Qualifications
- A good understanding of consulting projects, consulting operations, project methodologies, resource management and project financials with some experience in project governance.
- Experience in looking at client outcomes and allocating resources to achieve the best customer satisfaction.
- Strong relationship building and communication skills. Skilled at having difficult conversations with empathy and understanding.
- Understanding of workforce analytics with an ability to demonstrate to others its impact and trends to inform decision-making.
- Business analysis skills to support effective delivery, governance and reporting.
- Confident in using data to tell a story.
- Ability to juggle a constantly changing workload.
- Attention to detail, able to spot anomalies in business data and investigate causes / rectify mistakes.
- An understanding of diversity and how this impacts and connects with resourcing.
