We are currently seeking an enthusiastic manager to support the development and delivery of workshops to families, education, health, and social care staff.
This will involve supporting the collation of information and the design and delivery of on-line training and face to face workshops at our purpose built premises in the grounds of Keele University. You will be working to increase the skills and knowledge of others to enhance the lives of children and young people with disabilities.

Our facilities provide a state-of-the-art base within the grounds of Keele University, Staffordshire, with the option of informal homeworking arrangements (up to 2 days a week from home) after passing probation.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and attract suitable families to the CICC workshops through local and national engagement opportunities.
- Identify and attract suitable schools to the school programme of workshops.
- Research, collate and compile content from local, national and international sources.
- Work with the Clinical Team and Research and Engagement Team and relevant managers to assist in identifying training needs for families, children and young people living with disabilities and people working in health, social care and education settings.
- Based on this research and by identifying training needs, you will work to develop relevant workshops and training sessions.
- Deliver, and support others to deliver, face to face and virtual workshops and training for children and families, children and young people living with disabilities and people working in health, social care and education settings.
- Obtain outcomes from the workshops and coordinating with the Clinical Team, providing analysis and recommendations.
- Provide regular, accurate reporting of training activity, for example attendees, content and time.
- In collaboration with Service Delivery Teams work to review, write and develop content appropriate for identified audiences as required.
- Support others, including volunteers and apprentices, to research, develop and deliver content as appropriate.
- To work effectively and co-operatively as a member of a team, maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and professionals from other departments within the Charity and with external agencies.
- In collaboration with the Governance Lead and Registered Manager contribute to reviewing, revising and formulating policies and procedures and promote their implementation across the Charity as relevant.

Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Teaching qualification or coaching/training qualification/experience.
- Good literacy, communication and IT skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of children, young people and families with SEND including autism.
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Ability to plan and prioritise workloads.
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude with a flexible approach to work.
- Able to meet the physical requirements of the role after reasonable adjustments have been made for illness or disability.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience of designing and delivering face to face and remote learning programmes in a range of settings.
- Knowledge of statutory and voluntary agencies.
- Experience of working in the Third Sector.
- Experience of working in CQC and ISO regulated organisations.
- Experience of working with volunteers.
