We are leading provider of structural steel and metawork fabricator.
With growing operations, we are now seeking a proactive and hands-on Yard Team Leader to support the efficient running of their yard operations across our factory based in perivale west london
Role Overview
This role will act as a key support between the Manager and the Yard Operative across The Yard Team Leader will ensure smooth coordination of stock, fleet, and site logistics while remaining actively hands-on in the day-to-day running of the yard.

This role will act as a key support between the Manager and the Yard Operative across The Yard Team Leader will ensure smooth coordination of stock, fleet, and site logistics while remaining actively hands-on in the day-to-day running of the yard.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist and support the intake and organisation of stock across yard
- Assist in receiving, checking, and documenting deliveries
- Support the coordination of the company’s fleet, including organising repairs and maintenance
- Ensure the yards are kept tidy, organised, and compliant with H&S procedures
- Act as a point of contact between yard staff and the Operations Manager
- Report any stock discrepancies or issues to management in a timely manner
- Previous experience working in a yard, depot, or warehouse environment
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Forklift experience
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Proactive and hands-on approach
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks across multiple sites
- Knowledge of stock handling and logistics processes
