The Perfect Candidate
You’re a creative and detail-oriented YouTube video editor with a passion for sport and a deep understanding of what makes content pop on YouTube and social media. You're fluent in Arabic and confident editing content that resonates with Arabic-speaking audiences across key platforms.
You understand how to balance pace, storytelling, and branding — and you’re as comfortable repurposing existing footage as you are crafting new edits from scratch. You’re collaborative, efficient, and up to date with the latest video trends in sport and digital.
Role & Responsibilities
- Edit high-performing video content for YouTube, Shorts, Instagram, and other social platforms – with a focus on sport
- Fluent in Arabic, with the ability to understand, cut, and subtitle content appropriately for Arabic-speaking audiences
- Create engaging long-form edits, Shorts, highlight reels, and promotional content
- Optimise content for digital platforms – including pacing, formatting, and thumbnail/key moment selection
- Collaborate closely with Channel Managers to ensure all edits align with channel strategy and audience expectations
- Apply basic motion graphics and typography where needed to elevate edits
- Implement client and internal feedback promptly and professionally
- Ensure all content is delivered on time, on brand, and to a high creative standard
- Maintain organised project files and follow established naming/archiving systems
Requirements
- 1+ years’ experience in video editing, ideally with sport or digital-first brands
- Fluent Arabic speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects and Photoshop is a bonus
- Solid understanding of YouTube and social video formats, trends, and best practices
- Experience editing content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Shorts, TikTok, Instagram)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple edits simultaneously
- Passionate about sport and storytelling through video
- Organised, detail-driven, and open to creative feedback
