- 11/33kV Switchgear Installation Operative, based out of our Haydock Production facility required for multiple national site projects.
- Working on various sites to carry out 11/33kV installation as part of our factory authorised installation team
- Training on switchgear will be provided, both via factory authorisations and workplace training, to aid progression to Team Supervisor/Authorised HV Installer.
Key Activities:
CCNSG or JIB card for H&S qualification.
QNVQ in Electrical/Mechanical discipline.
Full Driving license
11/33kV Equipment Experience
Ideal but not essential:
Fork lift truck Licence
1st Aid trained
Manual Handling trained
Harness user trained
Working at height trained
LV control panel/wiring experience
Company transport provided
Overnight Accommodation and living allowance provided

- Support the MV installation team with switchgear delivery and positioning when required
- Carry out termination of buswiring and multicore wiring as part of the MV installation activities
- Installation of busbars, CT’s and VTs to complete installation.
- Assist in the High Voltage withstanding test and site acceptance testing of MV switchgear.
- Understand and Adhere to Risk Assessments/Method Statements.
