Job Purpose
The Programme Manager Quality will be responsible for the management, development and implementation of a strategic and operational quality and safety improvement programme, taking account of the organisation’s strategies and the need for improvement. The postholder will be responsible for driving a programme of quality and safety project.
The Programme Manager Quality will have responsibility for the development of the quality improvement programme and also directly lead on projects and initiatives within the programme that support the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership’s objectives. The post-holder will work closely with teams and services across both NHS Lothian and the City of Edinburgh Council, liaising with colleagues in complaints, quality improvement, risk management, health and safety internal and external stakeholders and senior management, to define and implement quality improvement priorities and projects.
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be
