Entry Criteria For a Specialty Doctor
A doctor appointed to this grade:
shall have full registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council (GMC);
And
- shall have completed at least four years’ full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a less than full-time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme or specialty registrar locum appointment for training (LAT);
Or
- shall have equivalent training, experience or competencies, either in the UK or overseas.
Applications are welcome for the above Fixed Term, part time (32 hours per week) post based in East Lothian Community Hospital.
Join a supportive and wellestablished Hospital@Home team delivering acute care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Based at East Lothian Community Hospital, this role offers the chance to work closely with an experienced multidisciplinary team, helping frail and complex patients remain safely at home and reducing the need for hospital admission.
