Contract: 4x 24 months fixed term

About This Opportunity

As a Family Resilience Worker in the Family Connection (Prevention) team, you will improve outcomes by providing practical support and direct work intervention to vulnerable children, young people, and their families supporting them to safely remain living together. This is a practical role and therefore you will not always be working a standard Monday to Friday 9-5, it is a role that will also see you offering support to families outside of normal working hours and at weekends, as these are the times that families often need the most support.

As a Family Resilience Worker within the Prevention team, you will be supporting families within their homes, often in times of crisis, to enable children and young people to be safe and happy in a home able to meet their need for consistent care and security. You will support parents and carers to increase their knowledge, skills and confidence in providing nurturing trauma informed parenting for those they are caring for, ensuring the voice of the children and young people is heard and informs the decisions that are made about them.

We’re hiring for 4 roles, all available on a 24 months fixed term basis.
