About The Role (External)
Role Overview
In this role, you’ll play a key part in enabling the safe and efficient delivery of work by producing and maintaining the Delivery Unit Possession Plan. You’ll work at the heart of access planning, ensuring possessions and isolations are used to their full potential while supporting operational delivery across the railway.
✅ What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll play a key part in enabling the safe and efficient delivery of work by producing and maintaining the Delivery Unit Possession Plan. You’ll work at the heart of access planning, ensuring possessions and isolations are used to their full potential while supporting operational delivery across the railway.
✅ What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of the application and coordination of all access and isolation requests for the Delivery Unit.
- Produce, maintain and control the Delivery Unit Period Possession Plan, ensuring accuracy and alignment with planning timescales.
- Optimise the use of possessions and isolations, working collaboratively to maximise efficiency and minimise disruption.
- Submit possession and Temporary Speed Restriction (TSR) requests using the Possession Planning System (PPS).
- Manage the possession change control process, ensuring changes are captured, assessed and communicated effectively.
- Process isolation requests and liaise closely with the Isolation Planner to support safe and timely delivery.
