Company Overview
You will be a joining a very prestigious, well-established and highly regarded Law Firm as their Revenue Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. Part of a large finance team of over 45, you will report into the Senior Revenue Manager, working closely alongside a team of high-performing Senior Revenue Controllers, Revenue Executives, Revenue Assistants, Credit Controllers and e-Billers. Based in their very modern City of London office 3-4 days a week, you will have the chance to work from home for the remaining 1-2 days, in line with their hybrid working model.
Role Responsibilities
In your new role, you will be responsible for processing a high number of invoices each month, ensuring that debt collection of invoices is undertaken in accordance with the credit control procedure, ensure that requests from the practice teams are actioned effectively, ensure that queries raised by a client are resolved in a the appropriate timeframe and escalated to fee-earners, revenue controller or management and provide necessary support to Revenue Controllers and keep the Revenue Coordinator and Head of Revenue informed of issues and concerns.
Role Requirements
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have at least 1-2 years of experience working in a Revenue, Credit Control or Billing role, ideally in a Legal or Professional Services environment. You will demonstrate a genuine interest in continuing your career in Revenue and possess an outstanding work ethic, strong communication skills and a proactive attitude to all tasks. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, have the confidence to liaise with senior stakeholders, be a team player who supports and encourages their colleagues, possess the ability to follow instructions with limited supervision and have a high level of numeracy alongside a clear understanding of the core finance principles. You will have experience using an Accounts software (ideally Legal finance but this is not essential) and be competent with the use of Excel to an intermediate level.
