Accounts Payable Manager – London
Our client, a leading Renewable Energy firm, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join their high-performing finance team of 20.
Role Overview:
The role has four core components:
- Ownership & Leadership – Oversee the end-to-end invoice-to-payment (I2P) and purchase-to-payment (P2P) processes, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to direct reports, and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration across Finance, Treasury, and other stakeholders.
- Process Control & Compliance – Ensure all transactions comply with internal policies, delegation of authority, and documentation standards. Maintain robust processes and controls to support audit requirements.
- Transactional Management – Manage day-to-day invoicing and payment operations, including recording, approvals, supplier queries, ledger coding, and coordination with Treasury for payment arrangements.
- Process Improvement & Reporting – Drive efficiency, automation, and workflow improvements across finance operations, track KPIs, provide insights, and support year-end audits.
