We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to support the finance function, with a focus on managing sundry income, debtor accounts, and invoicing activities. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial records and timely cash collection across the organisation.
- £16.00 an hour
- Haddington - hybrid
- 12 month contract/35 hours
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and cash allocating.
- Oversee sundry income streams, ensuring accurate billing and tracking.
- Maintain and reconcile debtor accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Monitor outstanding balances and support debt recovery activitivity.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records are maintained in line with internal control.
- Support month-end processes, including reporting on receivables.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve queries efficient.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and control.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in an accounts receivable or finance setting.
- Strong understanding of invoicing, debtor management, and financial process.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Excel.
