Activity Coordinator / Lifestyle Coordinator

Location:
Astley View Care Home, Chorley, Lancashire

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £13.45 per hour (£26,227 per annum)

Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week

Working Pattern: 2-week rolling rota

About the Role:

Evermore Care is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Lifestyle Coordinator to join our state of the art, luxurious Astley View Care Home in Chorley on a permanant, full-time basis. This role is a fantastic opportunity to plan, design, and lead a variety of social and recreational activities that enrich the lives of our elderly residents, ensuring their days are left fulfilled and have meaning.

  • Main Responsibilities:

    • Plan and deliver engaging activities, such as musical sessions, exercise classes, community outings, and themed events.
    • Collaborate with local performers and organisations to arrange enriching experiences for residents.
    • Hold resident meetings to gather feedback and ideas of what they would like as part of their time living with us.
    • Maintain accurate records, update care plans, and manage schedules effectively.
    • Inspire friendships, creativity, and culture tailored to the diverse interests of residents.

    Experience and Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a care or dementia environment.
    • Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
    • A creative and proactive approach with a passion for making a positive difference.
    • A passion for exceptional, fulfilling care and making a difference to the lives of others.
