Actual Annual Salary: £8,793 - £9,584 (Based on hours and working weeks)
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £25,941 - £28,275 (CLF Grade B) Based on Full Time hours, All Year Round.
Contract Type: Fixed term until 30/05/2027 (Maternity leave cover)
Hours: Part-time, 15 hours per week Term Time Only
Additional role info: 7.5 hours per day, Wednesday and Friday (15 hours per week).
Provisional Start Date: 1 June 2026

Working 15 hours per week, term time only, youll be the first point of contact for visitors, students, and staff, helping to create a positive and safe environment for all.

About You
You will:
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage warmly and professionally with students, staff, parents, and visitors.
- Be confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and email, and ideally have experience with school management systems such as Bromcom.
- Be highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Demonstrate empathy, patience, and a calm approach when dealing with sensitive situations or safeguarding matters.
- Be committed to confidentiality, safeguarding, and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Be flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic about working in a school setting.
- Welcoming visitors, managing sign-in procedures, and ensuring safeguarding protocols are followed.
- Answering telephone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Supporting students and staff with day-to-day administrative needs.
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting with data entry and reporting.
