Civils & Buildings Asset Management Frameworks – Rail Maintenance

Are you an organised professional looking to make an impact within the rail sector? We are seeking a proactive Administrator to join our Civils & Buildings Asset Management / maintenance team in the North West. This role offers the opportunity to support our framework team with essential day-to-day administrative functions across a variety of projects and remits within the framework.
About Us
Our busy and dynamic business unit delivers a wide range of infrastructure projects and framework contracts in both rail and non-rail civil engineering environments. Our work in the North West includes bridges, embankments, stations, platforms, tunnels, structural steel installations, and moving structures. We collaborate with diverse clients and tier 1 contractors on multidisciplinary civil projects, including infrastructure development and maintenance across the region.
The Role
The Asset Management Frameworks team at Warrington is looking for a dedicated Administrator to provide vital support. You will handle a variety of administrative tasks to ensure smooth project delivery and effective team operation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining accurate records of processed items, managing document filing systems for easy retrieval
- Planning and prioritising your workload to meet deadlines
- Producing reports, correspondence, emails, forms, and schedules using various PC-based software
- Uploading and managing project documentation electronically
- Handling routine administrative duties such as ordering stationery, photocopying drawings, and managing office supplies including PPE and sundries
- Coordinating weekly whereabouts for office-based team members
- Contributing to client and company reports as needed
- Supporting company and industry initiatives
- Assisting wider support teams where required
- Managing electronic diaries (Outlook)
- Undertaking additional tasks as authorised by line managers
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within construction, civil engineering, or rail asset management environments
- Familiarity with systems such as Citadel (Salesforce) platform is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
