The Newark Family Support and Safeguarding team are looking for an experienced social worker to join the team for a 12 month temporary contract as an Advanced Practitioner.

The team is based and Thoresby House, SEV and is made up of Social workers, Early Help Case Managers, Family Support workers, Woman's Aid worker and CGL (Drugs and alcohol). You will be working alongside another AP and the Team Mangers to support the team, improve practice and outcomes for families. You will have allocations of your own and work as a co-worker with others as a support. You will also provide supervision to some team members such as the Family Support workers.

This post is also available as a secondment opportunity to existing Nottinghamshire County Council employees. You must seek approval from your line manager before applying.
