What you'll do:

As a Sanctions Programme Analyst at MUFG in London, you will be instrumental in supporting the effective operation of sanctions controls throughout EMEA. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with transformation partners, country compliance teams, operations staff, and business stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the sanctions control framework are robustly managed. You will contribute your expertise by preparing detailed reports, coordinating remediation efforts, maintaining accurate records of actions taken, and supporting both routine oversight activities as well as special projects related to sanctions compliance. Your ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels will be essential as you help drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team. Success in this role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to identifying potential risks or process enhancements. • Deliver timely, well-evidenced responses to regulatory, audit, and compliance testing findings by collaborating closely with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

Create and report team management information (MI), including data analysis and presentation to support informed decision-making by the EMEA Head of Sanctions.

Update manual controls registers while providing coverage for business-as-usual list management activities alongside future implementation of new data lineage controls.
