Anaplan Solution Architect

London - Hybrid working

12 month temporary contract


SystemsAccountants is partnering with a leading international organisation to recruit an experienced Anaplan Solutions Architect for a 12‑month temporary contract basis. This is a key role within a high‑performing Finance Systems function, supporting business‑critical planning processes and driving enhancements across a mature Anaplan landscape.


Working closely within the Financial Systems Team, you’ll play a central role in ensuring continuity of quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting and ongoing model development. You’ll also be heavily involved in a major transformation programme, ensuring smooth integrations and performance of Anaplan models as the technology landscape evolves.


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Anaplan professional to step into a visible, impactful role within a growing Centre of Excellence, partnering with Finance, FP&A, Technology and regional teams across Europe.


Key Responsibilities

Anaplan Model Development & Architecture

  • Deliver planned model build, enhancements and structural updates in line with the 2026 roadmap
  • Work closely with the in‑house Anaplan model builder on integration activities
  • Produce solution designs, effort estimates and architectural documentation
  • Adhere to governance standards and present changes through the Technical Design Authority

BAU Support & Operations

  • Manage and triage JIRA tickets, ensuring timely resolution
  • Oversee user access, security groups and admin tasks
  • Troubleshoot data loads, integrations, formulas, mappings and UX issues
  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams to maintain seamless data flows
  • Manage incidents via the Anaplan Support Portal and communicate release updates

Project Delivery & Quality Assurance

  • Co‑own the Anaplan roadmap with FP&A
  • Lead prioritisation meetings and stakeholder reviews
  • Oversee QA, IT testing, CAB readiness and UAT sign‑off
  • Work closely with technical product managers and cross‑functional teams

Training & Enablement

  • Support quarterly training for forecasting and budgeting cycles
  • Deliver onboarding and user enablement sessions
  • Maintain training materials and guidance for new users
  • Skills & Experience

    • Proven experience as an Anaplan Solutions Architect, certification required
    • Strong command of Anaplan modelling best practice
    • Minimum 5 years’ hands‑on Anaplan development experience
    • Experience working in complex, multi‑system environments
    • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
    • Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, self‑managed environment
