We are looking for an experienced Senior Tendering Application Engineer to support HV AC & DC substation bid activities for major energy infrastructure projects.
You will lead the technical preparation of bids and work closely with bid managers and engineering teams on projects including HV substations, offshore wind, battery energy storage and green hydrogen.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical input for HV substation tender submissions
- Develop technical solutions and substation designs
- Analyse client requirements and optimise equipment selection
- Prepare technical documentation, scope and specifications
- Collaborate with engineering and commercial teams to deliver competitive bids
Requirements
- Electrical Power Engineering degree
- 10+ years’ experience in transmission/distribution engineering
- Strong knowledge of HV AC substations and primary plant
- Understanding of protection, SCADA/control, telecoms and metering
- Experience with HVDC or offshore wind desirable
