Job Title: Applications & Data Quality Analyst

Location: Hybrid Working – NE1 / Remote

• Minimum 3 times per week in office.
• There may be requirements to visit other offices for meetings and general collaboration

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 35-hour week (Flexitime)

Reporting To: Application and Digital Manager

Salary Range: £24,000 - £28,000

About the Team

You’ll be joining our Digital and Applications Team, a group of 6 specialists, part of a wider 14-person department.

The team works closely with senior leadership, operational teams and transformation colleagues, supporting them with application management, data quality and governance and continuous improvement across our systems landscape.

We pride ourselves on being collaborative, pragmatic and improvement focused, offering exposure to firm wide transformation initiatives and cross team projects that shape how we use technology and data across the business.

Your Opportunity

This is a pivotal role at the intersection of digital applications and data, ensuring our systems support the firm’s strategic ambitions. You’ll strengthen and modernise our application estate while improving data quality and governance across the business.

Working closely with Digital, Strategy & Transformation and Data & AI teams, you’ll ensure our systems not only operate effectively but enable the efficiency and insight we’re seeking to drive. This is an opportunity to make a visible, practical impact on how we use technology and data to drive the firm forward.

How You’ll Make a Difference

In this role, you will:

• Work closely with the Digital Applications Manager to support and maintain our application estate
• Oversee application upgrades and ensure systems remain current, efficient and fit for purpose
• Monitor and improve the quality of data entering and flowing through our systems
• Support data governance processes including mapping and understanding data flows across platforms
• Analyse and validate data for accuracy, consistency and integrity to facilitate optimum insights for stakeholders

You’ll Be Ideal for This Role If You Have:

• Experience supporting and maintaining a business application estate, including coordinating upgrades
• Detail orientated and commercially aware mindset
• Hands-on experience improving data quality within systems, including identifying issues at source and implementing practical fixes
• Experience contributing to or supporting data governance frameworks, with an understanding of data ownership, controls and lifecycle management
• Experience working cross-functionally with digital, transformation or data teams to align systems with broader business objectives
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to balance data quality, system performance, and cost considerations

1. An introductory Teams call with our Talent Acquisition team.
2. A first-stage interview with two team members.
