This isn’t your standard machine learning role, it’s a chance to help build the data backbone driving Aventum’s global underwriting transformation. As an Applied Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll shape how data flows across the entire insurance value chain, from behavioural telemetry to real‑time pricing engines. You’ll work end‑to‑end, owning pipelines, feature stores and data architecture that enable smarter, faster, more explainable decisioning at scale. Expect responsibility from day one, the freedom to experiment, and the expectation that you’ll keep raising the bar. - Build and scale real-time and batch data pipelines powering underwriting, pricing, and decisioning models across the business.
- Design behavioural telemetry and event instrumentation that capture the signals ML teams rely on for training and inference.
- Develop and maintain enterprise feature stores ensuring consistent, reproducible ML assets across environments.
- Define robust data schemas, governance frameworks, ontologies, and lineage to support compliance, quality and modelling excellence.
- Partner with actuaries, underwriters, ML engineers, and product teams to embed machine learning deeply and intelligently into underwriting workflows.
